Query: How well do we apply the testimony of simplicity to our individual lives, to the responsible use and the distribution of natural resources, and to the protection of the planet from the ravages of exploitation and pollution? Do we have reverent respect for all forms of life on the earth we share?

1. Welcome, Recognition of First-Time Attenders, & Review of the Agenda

2. Review of Minutes for May Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business.

3. Request to Approve Lauren Hart as new First Day School Coordinator.

4. Nominations Committee Recommendations for Committee Membership for 2008-2009 –Request for approval.

5. Treasurer’s Report – Judy Purvis for the Finance Committee.

6. Finance Committee Recommendations for 2008-2009 Budget – Request for approval.

7. Request to Approve to Social Action Grants – Hank Elkins for Peace & Social Concerns Committee
$1,000 for a grant to the Community Success Initiative for employment workshops.
$500 for Russell Herman, independent consultant for non-profits.

9. Announcements:
• Youth Religious Education Committee has many fun activities planned for the summer both during First Day School and on Sunday evenings. If you are willing to be a friendly adult presence (FAP) for an event, please see Beth Kurtz-Costes.
• Friends General Conference will be June 28 – July 5th in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with a large group of Friends. Learn more about FGC at http://www.fgcquaker.org/.

THIS Sunday (6/8) Game Night

Intergeneration Games Night is sponsored by the Youth Religious Education Committee and the Children's Religious Education Committee. Each games night will be in the Meeting Multipurpose room and will go from 6:30 to 11:00. So eat an early supper, then come by, bring the family, bring your favorite game(s), and stay for as long as you like.
